How feature entry is awarded
Fury of Anubis uses a 6x5 Pays Anywhere grid. Landing three, four, five or six Scatters triggers ten free spins and assigns a progressively larger starting multiplier from 8x to 64x. That multiplier is the floor from which each free spin begins; it is not an instant cash award.
Pragmatic Play publishes these mechanics on its official Fury of Anubis page. Always compare the rules displayed in the exact operator version you open.
What the optional gamble changes
Before the bonus starts, players can accept the awarded starting multiplier or gamble entry to try to double it. The provider describes a possible starting value up to 256x after successful gambles. The attraction is obvious: every winning tumble during the feature begins from a higher multiplier base.
The cost is equally important. A failed gamble can mean losing entry to the feature. It does not merely reduce the multiplier by a small amount. That makes the choice a variance decision—not a method for creating value from a bonus already won.
| Choice | Potential benefit | Primary risk |
|---|---|---|
| Decline | Keep the awarded ten-spin feature and starting multiplier | No opportunity to double the starting value |
| Gamble once | Chance to double the starting multiplier | Feature entry can be lost |
| Continue where offered | Potential starting multiplier up to 256x | Repeated exposure to losing the feature |
Why a higher starting multiplier matters
The progressive tumble multiplier resets to the starting value before every free spin. Each consecutive winning tumble then doubles it. Starting at 64x instead of 8x therefore changes the entire progression within a spin—but only when wins and additional tumbles occur. A high starting value does not guarantee a qualifying win.

How to make the decision responsibly
- Decide before play whether you will ever use a gamble feature.
- Treat the value of feature entry as already at risk if you press gamble.
- Do not gamble because previous attempts lost or because a success feels “due.”
- Do not increase subsequent stakes to recover a failed feature gamble.
- Use demo mode to learn the interface without wagering money.
No past result changes the probability of the next independent outcome. If losing the awarded bonus would cause frustration or chasing, the lowest-risk decision is to decline the gamble.
